The Second Life Changes offers one-on-one ministry and pastoral care for those in Northern Rhode Island and Eastern Massachusetts who are seeking a "second life" in Christ. In these private sessions, we provide a safe place to talk through struggles such as broken relationships, addiction, anxiety, grief, shame, or spiritual confusion. We listen to your story, pray with you, and offer biblically grounded guidance shaped by the love described in 1 Corinthians 13-patient, kind, and enduring.
Prayer & Inner Healing Ministry
We provide prayer and inner healing ministry for people carrying deep wounds from the past-trauma, rejection, betrayal, or long-standing patterns of fear and anger. Through gentle, Holy Spirit-led prayer, we invite God to speak into those places and begin His healing work. Our approach is not about quick fixes, but about allowing the Lord's love to reach the roots of pain so that genuine, long-term change can take place.
Bible-Based Teaching
& Discipleship
The Second Life Changes offers Bible-based teaching and discipleship for individuals and small groups who want to grow in their understanding of Scripture and what it means to follow Jesus in everyday life. We focus on foundational truths-God's love, forgiveness, identity in Christ, spiritual growth, and practical obedience-always returning to the priority of love found in 1 Corinthians 13. Our goal is to help people move from simply knowing about God to living in a real relationship with Him.
Small Groups &
Support Gatherings
We facilitate small groups and support gatherings where people can walk alongside others who are also seeking change and renewal. These groups may focus on topics such as recovery, emotional healing, spiritual growth, or navigating specific life transitions. In a setting of grace and confidentiality, participants can share, pray for one another, and experience the kind of Christlike love that "bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things."
Marriage, Family &
Relationship Support
Because relationships are often where our deepest joys and pains emerge, The Second Life Changes offers marriage, family, and relationship-focused ministry. We work with couples and families around communication, trust, forgiveness, boundaries, and the impact of past wounds on current relationships. Using biblical principles and a love-centered approach, we seek to help families move toward healthier patterns of connection, honesty, and grace.
Church &
Community Partnership
We also serve the broader Body of Christ by partnering with local churches and ministries in Northern Rhode Island and Eastern Massachusetts. This can include guest teaching, workshops on healing and discipleship, prayer support, or coming alongside church leaders as an additional resource for congregants in need of focused care. Our desire is not to replace the local church but to strengthen it-helping believers and leaders alike reflect the kind of love Paul describes: a love that never fails and remains greater than any gift, talent, or program.
